Regan ‘Regan’s Book on Boxing and Wrestling or The Art of Self-Defence’ c1885. Contents include: Chapter 1 – Introductory Remarks, Chapter 2 – The Art and Practice of Boxing. The first two chapters concerning boxing are made up of 38 pages and include numerous line drawings. The wrestling section begins on page 39 and runs thru page 61. The cover of the book has a number of small chips along the extremities. There is also a small insect hole of some kind in the upper most right hand corner of two-thirds of the pages that doesn’t affect any of the text. I am happy to provide scans upon request. Despite the described faults I would still rate the condition of this book as good overall. Rare title . I have 2nd copy that is slight stained or a bit grubby looking but again one that I would rate as good condition overall that is priced at
