De Witt, Robert ‘Fight’s for The Championship of England, From 1740 to 1859, Including The Great Fight Between Sayers and Brettle.’ This is the American edition of an 1855 title originally published by Francis Dowling (See Hartley # 537 in Hartley’s Boxing Bibliography). 128-pages. Very scarce. It’s missing the top 1″ of paper on both the top and bottom of the spine and the front cover is looose and missing a portion of the upper left corner that is approximately 1″ x 1″ in size. The rear cover is attached but barely and it is missing some chips along the extremeties. The rest of the book is firmly intact and very clean internally
