Corri, Eugene – Fifty Years In The Ring

Description

Corri, Eugene ‘Fifty Years in the Ring’ 1933 1st ed. 256 pages. Interesting read from this long-time leading English referee. He officiated a number of bouts between great fighters of his era. The hardcover book is in good plus condition with a well-worn but very scarce un-price clipped mylar protected jacket with some minor chipping to the head and foot of the spine. Hartley’s Boxing Bibliography: “Contains the author’s reminiscences as a boxing referee and devotee of the sport, covering the period from the meeting of Slavin and Jackson to the days of Dempsey and Tunney.”
