Description

Chidsey, Donald ‘John the Great. The Life and Times of a Remarkable American (John L. Sullivan)1942 1st ed. 337 pages. Generally good condition, though it has a former owner’s book stamp on the frontispiece and appears to have had another on the inside of the front cover that was removed. The frontispiece also has a small less than dime-sized star shape cut out in the lower right-hand corner. Otherwise, I consider the book in good shape. The mylar protected price-clipped dust jacket showed wear to the edges, has four very small chips to the top of the spine and upper left top of the front cover of the jacket, and is a bit grubby. A good reading copy. $25.
